The name Serat Warna is inspired by two elements of nature: serat and warna.
Serat represents the delicate structures found in nature—the veins of leaves, the roots that anchor life, and the petals that give flowers their form. They are the natural frameworks that allow life to grow, connect, and flourish.
Warna represents the natural pigments found in the world around us—the colors of leaves, flowers, earth, and plants. When brought together through craftsmanship, these natural elements become patterns, textures, and colors that can be carried on the human body as clothing.
For us, fashion is more than something to wear.
It is a connection between human beings and nature.
When we take inspiration from nature, we are reminded of our responsibility to protect it. And when nature becomes part of what we wear, we carry that connection with us.

Our History
From Traditional Craft to Nature-Inspired Fashion
Serat Warna began its journey in 2014 under the name Etaham Craft, a traditional tailoring house dedicated to creating custom kebaya and wedding dresses. From the very beginning, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the spirit of handmade creation have been at the heart of our work.
In 2019, a new chapter began. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Serat Warna started exploring ecoprint, a creative process that transforms the natural shapes and colors of leaves and plants into unique patterns on fabric.
What makes our work special is that the entire process is carried out by our own team. From the preparation of materials and the creation of natural patterns, to the production of the final fashion pieces, every stage is developed and crafted with care in-house.
Today, Serat Warna creates a diverse range of nature-inspired fashion products, including ecoprint pashmina fabrics, clothing, pants, T-shirts, hats, bags, wallets, tote bags, shoes, and other fashion pieces.
Every product carries a unique story. No two natural patterns are exactly the same, making each piece a reflection of the beauty of nature and the craftsmanship behind it.
